The Blessing of the Flowers

LA Bendición de las Flores

What is it and what is its origin?

The blessing of flower water is an ancient practice full of symbolism, although it is not part of traditional classical Feng Shui, it is closely connected to Tibetan spiritual Feng Shui and to energy purification and karma practices that complement the work with the energy of your home.

Traditional elements and steps

  • Fresh flowers (ideally 7 different types, but they can be the same):
They represent nature, beauty, the passage of time, and the vibration of universal love. Each flower brings a different frequency.

  • Clean water (preferably mineral or spring):
It is the conductor par excellence. Water preserves memory and purifies.

  • A pretty bowl or container:
Preferably glass, ceramic or metal (avoid plastic).

  • Prayer, mantra or clear intention:
You can recite a Tibetan mantra such as Om Mani Padme Hum , or a personal prayer with the intention of releasing energies from the past, healing the home, and opening new blessings.

Basic procedure

  1. Place the water in the container and add the petals or whole flowers.

  2. Take the bowl to the center of the house, if possible so that the entrance can be seen.

  3. After 3 days, change these flowers for others, wait another 3 days and change the flowers again.

  4. Now that the flower water is ready, we need to request the blessing. Before the flower water withers, verbalize your wish to the water nine times: prosperity, health, safety, well-being—anything you need or desire at that moment.

  5. If you can play Tibetan singing bowl music in the background, it amplifies the vibration of the water.

  6. Once you've completed the blessing, thank the flowers and the water for their sacrifice and blessing. Empty the water down the toilet if you live in the city. If you live in the countryside, use this blessed water for your plants or trees. This final step of gratitude is essential, since these beautiful flowers have been placed at your service and must be honored.

When to use this cure?

Flower water healing is especially powerful in times of transition or emotional stress.

You can do it after an argument or a painful experience at home, when you feel that the atmosphere has become dense, loaded with unspoken words or trapped emotions .

It's also ideal after a move or at the end of a construction project , as it helps clear out previous energies and prepare the space to receive your own vibration. If you notice a feeling of heaviness, sadness, or stagnation that you can't explain, this ritual can help unblock the flow of Chi and bring lightness back to your home. And, of course, it's a beautiful practice to mark the beginning of a new cycle: during the equinoxes, Chinese New Year, your birthday , or any time you feel called to start from a cleaner, more harmonious, and more conscious place.
